The Tango Cheshire May Tango Weekend 2026
We are very excited that Stefan Wimmer is returning to Tango Cheshire on the weekend of 9th/10th May for our May Tango Weekend. Stefan is a long time great friend of Tango Cheshire.
Over the years Stefan has been a significant influence on the development of the teachers and teaching style at Tango Cheshire, and we want to again give the opportunity to members of the wider Tango community to learn directly from him.

Saturday 9th May
Workshop 1 - Cross the line:
13:30 - 15:00 (minimum 5 months +) Deep understanding of the
concept of crossing steps.
Workshop 2 - Crossing rebotes: 15:30 - 17:00 (minimum
1 year +) Cross steps powered by elasticity.
Workshop 3 - Dynamics in turns (vals): 18:00 -
19:00 (minimum 1 year +) Centripetal forces to feed your turns.
Spring Milonga: 7:00pm - 11:30pm (Tdj - Stefan Wimmer. Light Buffet. Dress to Impress)
Sunday 10th May
Workshop 4 - Hidden crosses:

Hot Food
Between Workshop 2 and Workshop 3, we can optionally provide you with hot food. A vegetarian/fish and a meat option will be available. If you want share a meal with us you must book this food option in advance so we can ensure there are sufficient portions.

Option 2 (£3): Vegetable Quinoa (Chilli or Italian)

Stefan Wimmer
Stefan is a teacher, TJ and host at the world famous El Corte Tango school in Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
