Dancing at Tango Cheshire in Wilmslow

Tango Cheshire was formed in 2003 to promote Argentinian Tango in the surrounding areas.  It is run by volunteers on a non-profit basis and funded by its own activities.

We organise regular classes, workshops and events and have close link with many Tango groups in the North West and UK.

Tango is a sophisticated and sensual dance that originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  It is improvised social dance with a rich musical heritage. Tango is challenging and intensely satisfying dance and music genre, but most importantly, it is a social activity.

Tango Cheshire is a great place to make friends and become part of the international Tango community.

Here is the structure of this term classes:

Thursday 12 January to 5 April 2012

  • 7-8pm Beginners plus / Improvers class

  • 8-9pm Intermediate /Advanced class

  • 9-10:30pm General dancing

This term there will be no complete beginners class, there will a combined “beginners plus and improver” class 7-8pm.  If you came to the 7pm beg or 8pm Imp classes last term, please come at 7pm for this term and if you usually come to the int/adv class then this term it will be at 8-9pm.
